Accomplishments

I am proud to say I have finished the illustrations for the book I'm illustrating! I submitted the rest of the illustrations last night and I'm waiting on the final word to see if there should be any revisions. This weekend I hope to finish the cover. I was asked to illustrate the book this fall and had until what I thought was today. It's funny the entire time I worked on it, I thought it was due April 16th. It was actually due on April 8th. I reread the agreement around April 5th and had to ask for a bit of an extension. I hate being late! But I was able to get the majority of the work in by the 8th and the little stragglers were submitted last night. So I met their deadline and mine. It's been a lot of fun to work on, and I can't wait to show you guys! Cinderskella will be published this October! It's a pretty cute book and I'm sure you'll be hearing more about it. :)
And this week I'll be hanging the majority of my art work in a local gallery here in Provo.
I'm a pretty busy girl, and I don't have a lot of spare time, but I'm proud to say that a lot of my busyness comes from my art business. And that in itself is a huge accomplishment.
