Thursday Threads - Like A Flower

We recently went out to take outfit photos. I was wearing a white dress, cardigan and thrifted vest. I looked down at the flowers that surrounded us and realized I was wearing the same colors of the flowers! I was pretty excited to match the flowers.. (obviously)
though this time I didn't see any purple flowers to match my hair.

This outfit post kind of looks like a 3 in one. I loved this white dress from Sheinside , but it looked a little too dressy for me. So, I paired it with a vest and this cardigan. I love the leather snap on the side of the cardigan, and how the green vest dresses the outfit down a bit. Don't get me wrong, the dress is beautiful on it's own, which is why I included pictures of just the dress.

Thursday Threads- Stop Being So Girly

When I first cut my hair short, I decided to wear lots of girly dresses.
I liked the contrast of boy-short hair, and a girly dress.
I wore floral dresses, army boots, and my hair in a faux-hawk.
I don't feel the need to do that with pink hair as much..
but I love dressing down a girly dress with a blazer, or a "leather" jacket.

Thursday Threads- The Stars Are Gone

I didn't meant to be as patriotic as I look.
I just love matching red with navy blue.
If the skirt had stars on it, that would be a different story.
I also didn't mean to make such serious faces.

Thursday Threads- Splash of Mustard

I have started a Look Book.
I was hesitant at first..
because,
well everyone on there seems to wear such expensive clothes!
I do most of my shopping online, in the sale bins, at thrift stores, or handmade.

But then I figured.. why not?
Why can't I brag about my cheap-but-still-cute clothes,
my thrift store finds, and my favorite etsy shops?

So here it goes. So far I will just do outfit posts on Thursdays.
Paint and glue is almost ALWAYS visible on my hands...
(And clothes, and shoes, and doggies)

I've never done outfit posts before..
I'll try to get the hang of it.
.. so, how did I do?

Any advice or tips?
