This week has flown by, and I couldn't be happier.
I have a lot of projects planned where I will need a weekend to do them.
Having a boyfriend has been a bit of a trial with my work..
I don't want to work, I just want to spend time with him!
I am not sure if that is a problem or a good thing.
I've got a stamp line that I've been working on, and a custom piece for a friend's wedding.
Sterling and I are still working on plans for our new shop. I was initially wanting to switch my blog over to square space and get a shop with square space, but I really don't have the time or patience to switch everything. I know that it would be a two day or more ordeal, and then I would be afraid of loosing all of my Google readers. So, I am probably going to keep blogging at blogspot for a while... and sell my art and hats via etsy. I'll figure out what to do with the new shop. I'm thinking Bigcartel for a little while.. until it picks up. I just think I'm done with Etsy. Or at least done opening new shops there. I don't like that you can't customize them as much.
We are excited though. But, sometimes I don't know what I am thinking wanting to run yet another shop, especially when I don't have time to switch my blog over to a different website. What am I thinking? I tend to bite off more than I can chew. I try to do so many things all at once. Then I forget what I have been doing.. But, do I stop? No. Not ever.
On top of my shops, and blog I've got some new opportunities with fashion websites.
Which means, probably more outfit photos, and more fashion inspired giveaways!
I'm excited. I never really planned on being a fashion blogger.. So it's a nice sweet surprise.
I love that I get to do a bit of everything here on the blog.. I guess that's how life should be. Try to do a bit of everything. Practice everything. Get good at all things you do. Always progress. Okay. I really should get to painting then... That's a good motivational speech for myself.
But, first I've got an outfit post. This is what I wore on the 4th of July. Sterling and I went to the river to collect rocks again. It was a hot day, so naturally I wore shorts a cropped top and sandals.
These sandals are probably the tallest shoes that I own.
Let's just say that I didn't do too much rock carrying.
I stumbled down to the river that an idiot and probably whined about how tall my shoes were.
Sterling just laughed and rolled his eyes.
I'm surprised I didn't roll my ankle.
