Sometimes I lift Mowgli up onto my shoulder and walk him around the house so he can see what it's like being a tall like me. So he can see the the table tops look like, and how to look out windows. He can see the tops of the cat's heads and see where all his toys are. He can see what I see, and what it's like to take big steps.
Sometimes I get down on the ground with Mowgli so I can see what he sees. I get to see the table legs, and the cat feet up close. The world looks a lot bigger when you are that close to the ground.
"Rachael, you are weird."
Believe me.. I know.
Mowgli is a lucky doggie to have such a sweet owner. I especially love the third picture.
ReplyDeletePrecious :) You are absolutely stunning, by the way!
ReplyDeleteAh, I remember when tables were like vast cathedrals...
ReplyDeleteI can almost feel your pup's softness in that last picture!
Not weird at all, just kind and considerate to your beloved pets! I love to hold my cat and give him a new vantage point and an opportunity to swat at the pull strings on the ceiling fan (his favorite activity). I think my dog is just fine with her point of view, granted she's a bit bigger than the adorable Mowgli and not so easy to hold on my shoulder! Anyway I love these photos and I think this post is great!
ReplyDeleteHaha, I love the fifth one. And I love your view on the world :)!
ReplyDeleteNot weird. I like it. Wait, then it might be weird... jk. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post and photo montage. It's like a short story.
ReplyDeleteNice post. Reminds me of the stuff I'd do with my dog. She was a mini schnowzer. (My wifes parents have her now because are apartment wont allow dogs).
ReplyDeletethis is awesome!
ReplyDeleteI'm sure Mogli really appreciates it! =)
that last picture is great! love the focus and the look on your mowgli's face.
ReplyDeleteand it's always a good idea to get a different perspective on things, even in altitude :)
Haha, I love you for this. I'm so happy I found your blog. (And your cute shops!)
