White

I decided just yesterday to go back to blonde.

I miss my white hair. 

So, yesterday the thought popped into my head..

Go back to blonde! 

And I snatched that thought up right away and basically ate it.

I slept on it. (Mostly because I forgot the toner.)

And I woke up several times because I was so excited.

So, I'm doing it.

The bleach is in my hair. 

It tingles my scalp, and I'm a bit nervous my hair will fall out. (Again.)

But it totally won't. 

Happy Healthy Hair.

Torn

Due to a hair dye malfunction, my hair is hot pink. All over.
I'm torn between loving it, and needing to wear sunglasses when I look in the mirror.
I've always wanted pink hair, all over pink hair I mean.. Just like how it is right now.

And suddenly I miss my blonde hair.
But I love the pink so much..

My hair is the same color as my Halloween Wig.

 But, having a day job, even one that's part time a few days a week means I've got to comply to some rules..

So, tomorrow I shall have different hair.

But this pink is fun while it lasts!

A Post With Meaning

I feel like I've been a bit MIA lately.
Though, I do post every day.. I feel like they haven't been too personal.
I guess I've been busy.
Busy with painting, busy with planning, busy with just life.
It's hard to explain, because I don't feel like I accomplish much.
Haha, now I feel like I'm writing an email.
Speaking of emails, I have a lot to catch up on.

Anyways, this week went by super fast, didn't it?!

I started off with bleaching my hair.

It took three bleaching sessions, and one toning session to get all the red out. My hair felt a bit like straw, so I'm letting it heal a bit before I put any color back in.
I bleached it all out for three reasons.
1. It's starting to get warmer and sunnier, which means the sun will bleach it naturally... so I get to save money on dye!
2. I LOVE change. Especially when it comes to my hair.
3. Being platinum blonde is SO fun.

I do miss my pink hair though! I've been having dreams about wanting to dye it pink!
As soon as I find some time, I will.

 When Wicket is not hanging out with me while I work, he can usually be found watching people out the window. He yells profanities at everyone he sees. Like an old man yelling at the children to stop skateboarding on our sidewalks. I couldn't be more proud to be honest.

Exactly one week from today will mark the year since Mowgli's passing. If you follow me on twitter, you will know what this design is.. other than a cute silhouette of my puppy. :)

I felt pretty darn classy drinking my tea from this skull cup.

And I found this great quote, and got a screen shot from my phone. Money has been a big issue since I stopped working for sales in the hat shop. I'm so happy to not be overly busy with hats so I can make more art. The money is a lot less since art isn't as hot of an item.. but I honestly can't complain.
I'm a girl who is easy to please.
I have food, a house and I get to do what I love.
Money doesn't matter. 

Life is pretty beautiful guys.

The Hair Post

I've gotten many emails about my hair. How I get it to be so pink, who cuts it, who dyes it. What dye I use, what the back looks like, etc. So, here is a quick little post about my hair!

First off, I cut my own hair!
I've cut my own hair since I was 18. I'm pretty good at it.
I cut it about once a month with a regular pair of scissors, then trim it up with a pair of razor scissors.
I started cutting it myself because I didn't have the money to actually go anywhere, and I ended up liking it so much I just cut it myself.
If YOU are a hair dresser, don't make fun of me, cause it probably won't meet your standards of a good hair cut. (Insert winky face)

I also dye my hair myself!
My hair is all over pink, but the front is hot pink, while the rest is a darker pink. The whole dye process takes a while, but it's worth it to me. I love my pink hair, and I'm very lucky I don't have a job that would keep me from doing this.
First I bleach what I want hot pink, in this case the under layer of my bangs. Then I dye everywhere else red. Then after rinsing and drying all that I put in Manic Panic, Hot Hot Pink.  Then I rinse that out, and I've got pink hair!
Beware. This stuff stains your shower, and sink, and floors. Be very careful. It also stains your hands and nails...
I have to repeat this whole process about once a month.

And here is a quick little 360 of the hair.. which is new to me.. I don't think I've ever seen the back of my head since I started cutting it myself!

Remember, if you are going to dye you hair fun colors.. make sure you get it cleared with your work!
And invest in some good shower cleaner, and a towel that matches your hair color.
