Wonder And Wander

I titled this blog Wonder and Wander after my two newest paintings.
Which I didn't even mean to name such similar names.

I spent Friday and Saturday in the studio painting while Sterling was out of town.
It was very nice and refreshing to be painting again.

Wonder
8x10 Acrylic on canvas
$130.00
Prints will be available soon.
Wander
8x10 Mixed media on canvas panel.
This one is sold, but I'll be able to do similar paintings like it.
Prints will be available soon.

I'll be posting stuff in my Etsy shop as soon as I can get Etsy support on my side...
until then, I've been thinking about selling on my own. Or a my own hosting website..
Anyone know of a good way to do that?

Getting Work Done

I spent the day yesterday in the studio working on a custom painting. I love when people give me one of their ideas, and the trust that I can come up with something. It's always a bit nerve wracking when I send the photo of the finished piece.. Hoping they will like it. The one with the tree is the custom painting. I actually love the way it turned out, and all the texture. The concept was all his idea, and I think it turned out great.
The other one, is a quick glimpse of a painting I've been working on. I've been very interested in space lately.
I love having more time for art.. And I love the feeling of doing what I love.
There is still a lot of trust that I'm putting into the universe.. But I have a lot of faith.

Memories

I painted a portrait of Mowgli last year, and have since been offering custom pet portraits.
They are a lot of fun, but always make me tear up a bit..
Knowing I'm not the only one who lost a sweet fluffy companion.
I wanted to share some of the ones I have done since.
 (Mowgli)

These are always bitter sweet to do.
But, they are some of my favorites.
If you have a pet you would like to honor,
