A Reason Why

There's a path outside your door..

a sky outside your window.

Waiting for you to soar,

seeing where you will go. 

And a reason why. 

See the future, dream the future.

Go back, and create your own... 

Because we can't be saved by any one person.

So, receive the world, take the journey.

And your reason why.

Because, to be a star, 

you need to shine your own light. 

And it's only in the darkness,

that the brightest star shines. 

And it's not jus coincidence.. 

any more than it's coincidence that you are reading this.

Be a reason why.

And The Sun Shone

And the Sun had on a crown
Wrought of gilded thistle-down,
And a scarf of velvet vapor,
And a ravelled-rainbow gown;
And his tinsel-tangled hair,
Tossed and lost upon the air,
Was glossier and flossier
Than any anywhere.

And the South Wind's eyes were two
Little dancing drops of dew,
As he puffed his cheeks, and pursed his lips,
And blew and blew and blew!
And the Sun's-- like diamond-stone,
Brighter yet than ever known,
As he knit his brows and held his breath,
And shone and shone and shone!

Wake Up, Love

wake up, love


wake up, love
undress yourself from my skin
put on the sun and let our dreaming rest
come watch the world rise

wake up, love
and be unbalance on the edge with me
of our sagging, remembering bed
come slip on your shoes

wake up, love
and help me sort this tangle of belongings
our thoughts half in day, half still in night
come kiss me full of sustenance

wake up, love
and meet me at the opened door
before the scent of you leaves my hands and hair
come walk with me into this life
