Happy Labor Day! 

I've been hard at work... 

(Wink wink)

This weekend was supposed to be a lot more work than it was.

I took quite a bit of naps, and I'm planning my next one.

I'm awfully sleepy today! 

And lately. 

But, I did finish up this huge project! 

I have added 12 hand painted necklaces to the shop! 

Not all of them are here on the blog, but they are all listed in the shop. 

Each necklace is hand painted with a different space scene.

Both sides of the necklace is varnished, but I wouldn't recommend getting them wet.

On the back side of each necklace is a different secret little message just for the wearer. 

I was going to let the buyer pick them, but decided it would be fun to surprise them.

Never Before Seen

Before you go thinking that this is never before seen footage...
or a peak into my diary... it's actually a peak into my computer.

I have a folder on my computer titled "Art."

I was going through it today, when I noticed..

there are a few things I have forgotten to show you.

These next two paintings have been submitted to the Springville Museum Of Art.

If I find out that they don't make it in, 

the originals will be shipped to the Pump House Center For Arts in Ohio.

The Art Print Necklace Ordeal

Photographing these necklaces was quite the process.

I wanted to take the photos outside with natural light,

since my apartment gets no good light. 

So..

Right before I went out to photograph,

I sliced my finger in half while cooking..

 I had to wait for the bleeding to stop before I could operate my camera again.

THEN..

then guys! 

I was out photographing when I witnessed our next door neighbor

savagely throw then beat his microwave to death. 

He looked horrifying, and upset. 

So, I decided to stop photographing for the  day.

The next day it snowed.

The next day was just way too cold...

But I was determined.

I put on two pairs of pants, big snow boots, gloves and a big hooded jacket. 

Then I finished the job.

And now I'm facing the big task of listing these.

Non of them are in the shop quite yet..
