The weather outside is warming up, and fast.
After buying some beautiful thermal block curtains and getting the swamp cooler turned on, my house is starting to stay cool. But I do love my time outdoors in the summer sun.
We worked really hard to get grass growing..
and the backyard has twinkly lights and prayer flags.
It's a beautiful sanctuary even in the summer heat.
But I really am so excited about the hammock.
One of my favorite things about the house when I moved in.
And now I can finally spend time in it under the summer breeze.

Can you show us the prayer flags and how to make them? They sound like an awesome idea

YES! That is a great idea! I have made plenty of prayer flags, but a tutorial would be a great idea! Watch for it in the next few weeks!!
DeleteOh, your hammock looks so breezy! I live in Florida, so I would be a spring roll for the bugs in one of those this time of year! I've always wanted one for the fall, though.

I love your outfit and Jen and I wish we had a hammock! Cuddling in one sounds so perfect, especially in this weather. Did yesterdays dust storm arrive in your area? I was outside waiting for someone that was buying an old power supply of ours and all of a sudden everything just went crazy! A neighbors fence broke, a HUGE dust devil whirled through and all of the trees when WHOOSH into the air for a second. So cool.
ReplyDeleteNope... My mint plant fell from the wind.. but that's about it! P.S. I'm emailing you back right now!

ReplyDeleteOh and if you have any chance to answer, do you put any styling gel or anything in your hair to make it all quirky and spiky? :) thanks
