Words To Live By

Be Gentle With The Earth.

The Earth is our home. It is abundant with life and magic.
A truly beautiful and magical place for those who are willing to slow down and look at the little details.

The above picture is a reminder to me, that the Earth was here first, and though we put up our structures and step over and on, the Earth will always be moving forward.
Growing upward.
Slowly creeping her way back into our lives.

For those of us who are willing to listen, and watch and let the Earth grow.
The flowers in the garden, and the wild flowers in the trees all sing the same song.
Just like the trees on the school ground speak the same language as the trees in the forest.

The language of peace and love.

Listen quietly, inhale deeply and touch lightly.

Climb the mountains and get their good tidings.  Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees.  The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.  ~John Muir

  2. I love this post. Did you know that science has proven that a 30 minute walk in nature is just as good as an antidepressant? There's just something so intuitive and curative about nature.
