The other day, we went on an adventure.
It was the year anniversary of Mowgli's death..
I didn't want to be in the house.
So, Brad and I packed up a few things.
Including Mister Wicket, and went for a drive.
We had no plans on where we would go.
We drove for about an hour, then pulled off into a random town, and drove some more.
We turned down a dusty dirt road and drove even more.
We finally felt like stopping, and got out of the car.
Wicket learned that the world is a lot bigger than our little neighborhood.
Brad learned about the rule of thirds in photography.
I learned how healing wilderness can be.
We couldn't see another person at all.
The cars were miles away.
We were free and alone with nature.
I've got tons more photos from our adventure for tomorrow.
So, do check back.

All the best,

I'm glad you got a little chance to get away. My husband and I have decided that this weekend we are going somewhere. Anywhere! We've had a pretty sad week so we just want to get away for a day or two and be with nature. =)
ReplyDeleteBy the way, that outfit is really cute!!

There is no better medicine in the world than nature.
ReplyDeleteI noticed your bare feet on the ground...this really is healing and called earthing. he ground sends free electrons into your body thus healing. Whenever I'm feeling unfocused or upset I have to, have to, have to get out in nature too!
ReplyDeleteWhat kind of camera did you use?
ReplyDeleteI use a canon rebel xsi with an 18mm 1.4 lens
DeleteJust found your blog and I maayyyy have spent about three hours looking through old posts... You are gorgeous and so talented!! And I adore your hair. I have a pixie cut myself so I always feel a special pull to girls who rock the short hair, and you do it so well! Great job with your beautiful blog! <3
ReplyDeleteThanks Kirea! It's so nice to meet you! I too am drawn to girls who have short hair! I think there is a secret club, and once your hair is short, you are already a member. :) It's so nice to meet you! Thanks for your comment, and I hope you stick around!! xoxo
