The Power Of Words

I'm a quote person.
I love little quotes, and words of inspiration.
For quite a while now, I've been collecting my favorite quotes,
and putting them into a big folder on my computer.
Whenever I need a bit of inspiration,
I just read through my ever growing quote folder.

Yesterday, I took a bit of time to print my very favorite quotes
so I could have a quote jar for my studio.

For a long time I've wanted to put my favorite quotes into paintings,
and now that I'm finished up getting paintings ready for the show in Georgia..
I finally can.

For the show in Georgia, I needed to get about 20 big paintings done.
I love working with the big canvases,
but I'm very happy to be working with smaller sizes again.
It makes the Originals more affordable,
plus the painting is a lot easier to handle and ship.

I spent some serious time in the studio this long weekend painting my favorite words onto canvas.

I painted the words that inspired me,
words that helped me through the toughest times in my life.
Words that gave me hope and comfort.
And so I'm starting a new line of paintings.
"The Power Of Words."

And I hope it will be a success, not in terms of sales..
but in terms of help, inspiration, and love.
By the end of the day, all four of these will be in the shop.
I will be posting the originals and prints,
so if you see one that you like, and want the original,
email me about prices and reserving it.

These are some of my favorite paintings,
and I'm so excited to do more.
I even had dreams about it.
