Be Jolly!

“You do not become good by trying to be good,
but by finding the goodness that is already within you.”
~Eckhart Tolle

I think the same thing goes with happiness.

You don't become happy by trying or focusing on being happy,
that will only depress you more.
You become happy by accepting yourself.
Happy, or sometimes sad.
You are you.

Don't doubt yourself, you are more than enough.
You are good enough. If no one else tells you that, I will tell you over and over again.
(don't believe me? Send me an email!)
You are good enough to do whatever you want to in life.
Life is too short to paralyze yourself with doubts.

I used to doubt my capabilities, my happiness, and myself. I was so unhappy and frustrated with life. I buried myself in self-help books, and internet websites on how to achieve happiness. Book after book, program after program, strategy after strategy, and there was nothing to show for it.
But, things don't change until you take action.
Until you start doing something about it.
Whether it's eating healthier, exercising more, doing what you love actively or simply teaching others, and spreading what you have learned, you will start to feel it.
You will start to feel that you are good enough.
Good enough, and that's all any one needs to know.

When you believe in  yourself
your potential isn't something you need to reach,
it's something you will discover.

I felt compelled to share that with you....

My dear blog friends,
Happy Holidays!
I truly love you all.
All I want for Christmas is for you to be happy, healthy and in love with the world.
I can't express to you enough of my appreciation and gratitude
for your comments, emails, letters, and constant support.
It's meant the world to me.
A daily reminder that the world and the people in it are beautiful.

Happy Christmas
Happy Hanukkah
Happy Kwanzaa
Whatever you celebrate.
Make it a happy one.

I know a lot of you are going through rough times.. and some of you are alone this Christmas Season.
I wish I could be there to give you a hug, and tell you that you are beautiful, and that things will be okay... they really will!
But, I can't.
So,

here is my gift to you!
A very wintery mix.
These are not Christmas Songs, but instead,
my favorite songs that remind me of winter.
So you can even listen to it in the fall.

Number 5 and 11 are my all time favorite songs!

  6. For the past couple years now I have been reading your blog and have found it to be a huge inspiration. You have been a big influence on me finding my own happiness and this post almost made me want to cry. A bit overdramatic I know, but still lol. Anyway, thank you for everything and Happy Holidays.
