Where The Fog Dwells

We traveled to where the fog dwells..
Where the mountains are taller than the clouds.

A little while ago I told you about when Brad and I took a random drive.
We ended up in Filmore, Utah.
Where people ride horses around town,
there is no walmart or fast food.
We listened to a mix cd I made for Brad.
Full of all the songs that make me think of him.

I only shared a few pictures with you.
Here are the rest, and probably some of the ones you've already seen.
I plan on sharing the outfit this Thursday, a lot of people have asked about my jacket.
Let's all smile.
Today is Tuesday, and I see the sun.

  1. Your photos are always so beautiful. I love them all!

  2. I love these huge, wild spaces... Makes me think about being free. About freedom and modesty. About finding around what really worths and what really is necessary... The semplicity of being animals...
Your pictures are all little poems!
    I always appreciate your posts...

  3. Thanks Chiara! We felt very free on our little drive. We didn't have anything going on tat day, so it was very very nice. :)

  4. These are gorgeous! the first two and that carved tree are my favorite. Fantastic job

  5. I love those wide open spaces between along the freeway south of Springville. They show up in my art a lot! I love your beautiful photos, as usual!

  6. That tree is amazing and that emu is scary.

  7. Thanks guys! Yes.. the emu is terrifying.

  8. These photos are so pretty! :)

  9. Rachael, these photos are just gorgeous! Not sure how to describe them, but they just give me these great... not nostalgic, but kind of storybook feeling. I love them!

  10. Those photos make me feel so much better. I'm having a pretty rough month. Reading your blog always makes me feel better.

  11. If I had money, I just might consider asking you if I could buy large prints of some of those landscapes... They are absolutely amazing.

  12. I *love* photography, and your nature photography is some of the prettiest I've seen. You truly inspire me. Thank you so much for sharing it with your readers!
