A Medical Phenomenon

This will leave doctors scratching their heads.

Sometimes I feel like my blood turns into mud,
I feel like I'm going to explode.

It happens when:

I'm super stressed.
The paint won't mix right.
I have 5 more inches to sew and the bobbin keeps jamming.
I'm nearly done knitting a hat and then I run out of yarn.

Sometime it happens when I want to finish a painting but I'm really tired, and I don't want to waste the paint I just poured.

It happens when I try to paint and there is unpleasant sounds or music going on.

The last one was yesterday's problem.
Taylor was on the computer watching skate videos that involved loud hardcore music.
It's very hard to paint pretty things while listening to that kind of music.
It's not his fault, but it was frustrating me.

Next thing I knew..
My blood was gone, there was just mud and dirt in my blood. I could feel tiny rocks as I moved my hand. The mud started pumping through my body but it was gritty and slow.
I could feel it getting backed up.
I felt like I was about to explode.

What a mess that would be, a bunch of mud.
All over my walls and my art work.

I was on the verge of explosion all night.
Eventually I was able to watch a movie while I painted.
That made the mud dissipate just enough for me to finish my paintings.
I was a bit of a selfish wreck, I'll admit.
But wouldn't you be if you felt like you were about to explode?

I know my blood wasn't really replaced with mud,
and the only explosion would have been a little yelling...
but it's still an awful feeling.

That night Taylor told me all the things he loved about me.
I felt all the mud disappear as I lay there in bed listening to him.

It's nice to know why someone loves you.
(especially when you think you are crazy.)

These three new mushroom paints are now in the shop as well as 3 new pendants.

I'm very glad I didn't explode.

  4. I hear you. I sometimes feel like that too. Haha sometimes I have to check the calendar because 28 days sometimes goes by REALLY fast that I don't even realize, and sometimes things can just be irritating when we are tired. Love your post, your words are just as creative as your art!
