Here it is...

Sorry for the confusion. Moving to Charlotte would be nice, we are actually going to be moving to.....

Why the tears? Well I don't like Arkansas. We used to go there to visit family. It's not my family I don't like, or the people of Arkansas. I've just had some stinky memories there.
Twelve year old Rachael once vowed to never return.

We found out last night and I just kept saying, "No, you are joking me. No, No NOOOOO!"
Taylor's boss heard me over the phone.

I immediately called my mom. I told her through tears that we were going to move to Arkansas in a month. Both her and my dad started laughing.

Then my mom cheered me up.

It's time to replace those stinky memories with good ones.

Arkansas deserves another chance.
After all, it will only be for four months.

So I've been waiting all day to change the subject.
Waiting all day to share my newest creations.

Here they are.

Tiny paintings.
Framed for hanging,
not on a wall...
but around your neck!

  1. the necklaces you make are so awesome. mushrooms, hahahaha.

  2. Aww I'm sorry to hear you were so upset about Arkansas! I've never been except to drive through. Good on ya for giving it a second chance though. Who knows, maybe you'll find a crazy adventure there.

In other news I loooove yr mushroom pendants! My favorite is the second one, with the red mushroom. Too cute!

  3. Your pendants are really cute! I think that you will actually have fun in Arkansas. You will have a tons of photo opportunities and you can drive to beautiful country sits. You will also have AC- so life will be good!-----sorry I laughed---I did think it was a little humorous.

  4. Arkansas!? Wow, that is crazy and I can't wait to see all the great pictures you take there. I feel like I kind of know what N. Carolina looks like from your pictures, now I'll get a glimps of Arkansas. Also those necklaces are so neat! The boat is my favorite

  5. that is rough, at least you know it is temporary though and you'll be together...my sincere wishes for the best for both of you!

AND THOSE NECKLACES...looks like one would make a great statement piece with a tunic, leggings, and ballet flats! what a neat idea to make them.

  6. Im sure you will find lots of inspiration in Arkansas like u said it will only be for 4 months so im sure ull make the best out of it :)
    Ps: Beautiful necklaces

  7. I hope Arkansas will heal your bad memories by giving you a great 4 month life-changing experience!

Gladly reading and following your blog now through swap-bot.

  8. I love the necklaces!! They're so rad... If I wasn't broke I would totally buy the second one. And the one of the tiny boat.
Hope Arkansas turns out better than it was before for you!! I wish you to have the happiest 4 months you've ever lived there for.
    Much love!!

  9. I love the necklaces . . . fiercely.

Boo for Arkansas. Never been, but I've been to kansas and that was no good, so I assume any other state with kansas in it is no good as well. At least you're four states closer to Utah. I'm sure you'll make the best of it.

  10. I just purchased a pair of wrist warmers from your etsy site. I can't wait to get them!

I have also signed on as a follower.

  11. Like every state, it has its good points and bad points. I'm from Arkansas, but not one of the crappy areas. I'm from Fayetteville and I miss it so bad. It is such a beautiful town. Little Rock was pretty good too; not so pretty but lots to do. Where are you moving to?

  12. Those are so cute! Did you make them all???

  13. oh, arkansas. my my my.
there must be a special reason. :)
