Today has been weird. I've been moving in slow motion it seems. I woke up super late because of a migraine that ranked a ten on the scale of pain. (Anyone else have a pain scale?) Plus, I've got some pretty sore muscles from shoveling yesterday. I should probably work out a bit more so my little muscles don't scream at me every time I try to do hark work..
Because I've been so sore, I feel like have been going in slow motion. The animal's here have had a strange amount of energy. I've got three little fuzzy animals running around the house in circles! And I'm here moving in slow motion... Nubi knocks an ornament off the tree, so Meko runs over to start chewing on it, and Wicket, the police man he is tries to monitor everyone for me by picking fights with anyone who he feels needs it. So everyone is running around like crazy and I'm wobbling around after them reluctant to leave my heating pad... So, today has been a slow motion day. I'm an extremely dynamic person and I like a lot of quick movement and action... so I'm trying to be okay with the fact that I am moving so slow today.
Though, yesterday was a slow day too... and an inkastrophe. I went to fill all my orders, but ta-da... my printer ran out of ink, and my fine art paper! All at the same time. No problem. I could go get more.... So, I went to the local ink and printing store, where I plan to one day get my lovely continuous ink printer. So, I chat to the friendly and knowledgeable printer guy. I ask him for the ink I need, tell him what kind of printer I had and everything... My bad for not actually checking the box he put in the bag, he gave me the wrong ink! So now I have to wait until I can go back, try to get a refund on the opened ink, and go hunting for the right ink. So, I'm feeling extremely set back even more.
I'm hoping all orders will be out tomorrow. So, I'm sorry if you are waiting on an order from me... I promise they will be out before Friday!
So for now, let's enjoy this peaceful photos I snapped a few days ago and hope it looks like this tomorrow without all the ornaments thrown off to be chewed.
Also, I'm hoping to put some presents under there real soon.

Thursday Threads And A Pet Update!
Still can't decide if my hair matches, I do however love all the brass/copper jewelry and how that all ties in. The first brass bracelet I got from a craft store, it's just too fun to play with, and the beautiful copper bangles are from The Vagabond Studio. I'm a HUGE sucker for quotes, and these are my favorites. One reads, "The moon lives in the lining of your skin." And the other reads, "Let me learn from where I've been." I think they'd be such great gifts for my sisters this year for Christmas..
Bracelets - Vagabond Studio
Skirt - Chicnova
Leg Warmers - Hand Made
Sweater - Gift
And now, a real quick pet update!
I'm up to my ears in animals suddenly. Anubis is huge, Meko's ears are standing up, and Wicket is doing super well with all the adjustments! Oh, and I got a fish.
Meet The Doctor. My new fish. We decided that when he "dies" we can just get a new one and say he regenerated. We've never been so delighted to name a fish.
The pets are all getting along and snuggling!
Meko's ears stand up straight now. It just happened over night!
This is Mowgli. They are so alike!
Wicket - Nicknames : Viko, Wiko, Wicker, Miss America. Thinks the entire home is his domain. He acts like the little cop of the house. Always into everyone else's business. He actually like Meko, and doesn't mind to snuggle him.. but will protect all the toys, food and bones. Defends all the toys in the house, but refuses to play with them.
Meko - Nicknames Meeks, Ridder, Beeker, Meko The Mako Shark. Has learned 2.5 tricks, longest length with no accidents, 4 days! Until recently, it's been one a day. Ears are now sticking straight up. Going in to be neutered in a few weeks.. LOVES to bite and chew on everything.. Still learning. But is almost as tall as Wicket! Stores all his toys in the bed. Loves his kennel. Bites Anubis' tail.
Oh! And this!

Captain Cadaver
This is the first time that I've been coherent enough to actually write a blog post.
These last 3 days have been a complete fog.
This morning I woke up at my usual time, but couldn't stay awake for longer than 5 minutes.
I would start writing out my to-do list for the day and fall asleep with my phone in my hands.
I finally rolled out of bed around 11:30, which is super late for me.
I like to be up by 9 and working as soon as I stand.
I know I should be focused on resting and healing, but I hate to feel lazy!
So, sleeping in until 11:30 was huge for me.
I got up and slowly started to fold laundry.
My laundry had been piling up for weeks, so that was my ONE goal for today..
which turned into cleaning the room..
which turned into cleaning up the whole house.
And now I sit utterly exhausted but very pleased with myself.
And I actually feel more like myself.
Rather than a zombie.
And now I have someone to introduce you to!
Over the weekend, before I got sick, Sterling and I decided to adopt a little bird.
I've been wanting one for a little while now,
I had birds growing up and loved them.
And when we met his lil guy we new we had was meant to be part of the pack.
He's got a bit of a sassy attitude, but we love his spunk.
We named him Captain Clauneck Cadaver.
He's been pretty freaked out since we brought him home, but has warmed up to us nicely.
Wicket has some getting used to do..
Any time Clauneck speaks out or makes a peep Wicket freaks out.
Clauneck spent some time out on the couch with us, Wicket watched very him very curiously.
They will become friends soon.
