About Time

I have a problem with time.
If it's almost 1pm I round up and say, "It's almost 2! It's almost the evening! It's almost time for bed!"
I'm almost constantly stressing about how much time I have left before something is due, or until it's time for bed, or until it's time to wake up.
Then the hours are passing by too quickly and I can't seem to slow them down.
I get stressed out if I know I'll only get a certain amount of hours of sleep,
and it's hard for me to feel accomplished without always checking the time.

I know this isn't how it should be.
Today I stumbled on the quote..
"The separation between past, present and future is only an illusion,
although a convincing one.."  - Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein proved that time is relative, not absolute. With the right technology, like a very fast spaceship, one person is able to experience several days while another person only experiences minutes or hours, but at the same time. The two people can meet up and one could have experienced years while the other person has only experienced minutes.  The faster one travels, the slower their time will pass relative to someone standing still. If they are able to travel at the speed of light, their time would stop completely and they would only exist in a timeless space.

I don't normally talk a lot of science here,
but this is just a quick example that time really doesn't exist.

"Time" has  recently been taught as a completely difference dimension.. on a different plane, much like space.
Most people think of time as a linear plane, but it's much more than that.

Yes, we experience a sequence of events, we also experience a sequence of numbers, notes and a sensation of duration. Yes, we can check that sensation against a clock, but that's just comparing distance traveled by the energy that flows around us.  Just distance.
So what is time?
Time, as we know it is the rationalizing of our mind. The mind is rationalizing the electromagnetic frequencies that surround us and preparing us for the next.
But we are in control of our present, which means we are in control of our past and futures.

Einstein taught that time is just an illusion. When you understand and accept that there is no time, you can see that whatever you want in the future already exists.
Which means, when we think about what we want, we should be using present tense.

I really wasn't meaning to go all scientific on you..
Just trying to get some of my own thoughts out on how I can be happier with MY "time."
Going "Timeless" would be tricky, since everyone else uses time.
So for now, I am going to look at clocks less, and try to stop rounding up my time.

Yes, there is what has happened, yes, there is what will happen, but non of that matters unless we focus on the present moment and focus on what we have now.

And of course, the best way to put it..

  1. I find the affirmation "I am always in the right place at the right time" to be quite helpful.
