Follow The Moon

"Follow the Moon."
Wise instructions from a voice in a dream.

Because I do here voices in and out of dreams.
I do see things and people.
And I know I'm not crazy, or delusional.
These things come most when I am grounded, with a clear mind, in meditation, during astral travel,
and in that beautiful place between waking life and the dream world.

Once, a friendly voice from the one who leaves me the gray feathers told me
"Follow The Moon."
And since then, I've been increasingly interested in the moon, it's cycles, and locations.

I was delighted to find that this next full moon..
Is my moon.
The full moon will be in Aries.
All that I am, every bit of my personality, will be on the increase.

The full moon is a period of excess when everything in nature brims over.
Emotions, psychic energy, physiological activity will be at it's fullest.
It's a time for increased creativity and activity.

Tomorrow, I will be moving into a new house. This will take a lot of energy, I'm already a very energetic sign.
But I'm thankful for the moon for providing me even more.

We may also run into a few problems with the tenants who live at our new house.
They were supposed to be out 15 days ago, but have been unwilling to comply.
Meaning tomorrow we will meet face to face.
And I WILL start moving in.
Aries is the God of War.
And I play that well.
(though, I don't pick fights... I DO stand my own)

So, the Goddess of war may make an appearance on her full moon.
The full moon is normally when I charge my crystals.
I would love to do drum circles and moon dances,
but I have yet to meet the friends who would do that here.

The full moon is a beautiful and sacred time for me.
And, I couldn't be more excited to move on this full moon.
Because not only is this the full moon, in Aries, it is also the Harvest Moon.
Meaning the moon will be out longer tomorrow.

Do any of you feel any special significance to the moon?
Do you feel an increase of energy and connectivity when it is the full moon?

  1. How incredibly beautiful. I am a moon & water child equally, and for me, a full moon shining on the sea is the most gorgeous thing there is. I am so looking forward to this moon myself Rachael, and wishing you peace, strength, wisdom, and joy.

  3. Absolutely beautiful post, my friend. I love that you're so open in this post. Many people are afraid of saying they hear, and see, which others do not. The thing is: it's not that what you see and hear is not there, it's just that it's there for YOU to see and hear... Not others. Everyone has a certain someone, something, that will come to them. Be that their animal spirit, an ancestor, or even a wise voice in the plane between here and there. As a Pagan, I have a very special relationship with the Moon. I see her as more than that glowing orb in the sky, full of mystery. I see her as something so much more and feel empowered and safe under her presence. I'm so lucky that Jen is also Pagan, and we can talk about this. I know you will win your war, miss. Move in and don't take NO for an answer!!!

P.S. As for signs, I am a Leo through and through. It's a HUGE part of my identity.

    1. Someone asked me the other day which religion I felt I associated with the most and I didn't hesitate to say Pagan. I've always felt that way, and it's something I've been looking into for a very long time. :)

  5. Love this post, my dear.
Ever since I was a kid, I loved the moon. When I learned to drive, ever since I was 16, I've taken nights to myself to drive in the full moon's light. It's somehting I will always do! :)

  6. I don't have a special thing with the moon but I do hear voices a lot of times when I'm somewhere in between being awake and being asleep. They always tell me to keep believing!
