Creative Date

A little while ago Brad and I went on a creative date. We went to Color Me Mine. It's a cute little "paint your own pottery studio." I went there one day and saw a darling little chihuahua begging to be painted into Mowgli. I then begged brad to go with me and pick something to paint for himself.

Brad picked out a Mickey Mouse bowl.. his plan was to paint it with a secret surprise message for himself every time he finished his bowl of cereal or ice cream.

I think they turned out great.
I have my little Mowgli sitting on my side table next to his ashes.
He wears Mowgli's old collars and smiles at me as Wicket and I snuggle in bed and go to sleep.

P.S. I'm working on some new free downloads for you guys!

  3. The bowl is great, kind of like a affirmation on your mirror, but this is better. Wouldn't it be great for the bottom of children's cereal bowls, start them out with positive energy every morning.

nice puppy, I have a much loved dog that remember fondly too

  11. Awwww cute! If I did that of my black cat, the whole thing would be black except for her eyes and a couple of toes (white) and a white triangle on her chest. :P

  14. Hi! I love your blog. I started following after I googled how to make an easy dress, and saw yours. You are so crafty!
There's a small studio in my town for painting pottery too, and I hadn't been there in years. I went today and it was so much fun!
