Tiny Thoughts

I've been doing a lot of big paintings lately.
Like really big.
My artwork has a spot at the Defoor Centre in Atlanta Georgia this Spring.

So, I've been painting on very large canvases lately.
It's been a lot of fun.. but I got to the point where I just had to do something tiny!
These two paintings are super tiny!
They are about 3x3 inches..
These paintings include stucco, gesso, paper, paint and one includes some little buttons!
I'll be posting them in the art shop soon.
And some tiny paintings painted on stone.
These stones were found through out my travels across country.
The gray beach stone is from North Carolina,
The sea shell is from Hawaii.
The flat brown stone is from when I lived in California.
And the three little polished stones are from Utah.
They are painted with acrylic paint, but sealed with a semi-gloss varnish to keep the paint in place.

I'm super excited about the show.
and I'm hoping I can save up to go out there and see it all!
as well as make a small trip to North Carolina.. to show Brad how amazing it is.
It's not looking good, but I'm not going to stop dreaming and saving up.
