5 Things

First.
Five (newish) things
1. It's starting to get cold outside.
2. I just finished watching the whole series of Friends. I cried.
3. I don't mind singing loudly in the car.. but only when I'm alone.
4. Wicket is loosing his baby teeth.. He currently has 2 sets of monster fangs.
5. I ate sushi, and I liked it.

Second.
Five (oldish) things
1. I've been dating Brad for almost 9 months now.. And he is quite the amazing boyfriend, and I am very lucky.
2. I've been saving up for a trip to Disneyland for a Christmas/Anniversary present for Brad! (Saving up is hard work!!)
3. Gluten still makes me sick.
4. I've had my Halloween costume planned for months.
5. As of yesterday, it's been 6 months exactly since Mowgli passed away. I cried all day.

Third.
Five words of advice
1. Don't leave the house in your pajamas. Always try to look your best, even if you just run to the grocery store. You never know who you will run into, or meet.
2. Take lots of pictures, and video tape lots of things. One day, you will be glad you did.
(trust me)
3. Choose to be happy.
4. Be open minded.
5. Sometimes, you have to be your own hero. This doesn't mean, don't rely on anyone.. just be prepared to do things on your own.
You will be okay.
I promise.

Yes..
Okay.
That will do.

  1. Hey, miss. Lovely post! I know how you feel about Mowgli. Jen and I feel the same way about our big lovely black cat who passed away in early 2009. And really, any pet we've lost, or family member.

    On a less teary note...

I am SO glad it's starting to get nippy outside. Autumn is by far my favorite season. <3

  14. That last piece of advice feels so important to me right now. I'm trying to get used to living alone for the first time in my life, my boyfriend living in another country and I cry all the time, but I have to try to be strong and be my own hero. :) I loved reading this post!

  15. Aw Enmi! That must be so hard. How long will he be living in a different country? xoxo

  16. He's studying for four years in Scotland, and I'm here in Sweden as long as I can't find a good job over there or make a living off freelancing, so right now I don't know how long we'll be apart. :s At least I can see him this Christmas.
