I think I gave Brad a bit of a scare with my willingness to climb walls, in a dress, with no shoes.
It's better that way.
It's better that way.
The whole area was filled with sage, one of my favorite smells in the world.
When I lived in California I had a Native American friend who taught me a lot about sage and it's qualities. He taught me how to dry it, and burn it to bless a house or a building.
A sunken house..
I almost went IN this house the night before...
It was dark and I had no idea it was went up to the rafters.
Utah sure is beautiful.
The town was especially spooky at night.
those pictures are beautiful. i've always wanted to find ghost towns.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I drive through that canyon and see all the houses, I always think of my grandma, who used to say "where the hell is Thistle?!" when I would drive with her to her house in Mt. Pleasant. Then I'd always laugh and tell her "it's in the mud!".
