But, I love my new banner! I included a small version of the old one as to not cause too much confusion when that feature comes out.
The new banner matches my new business cards! Which I also LOVE.
It also includes a little illustration I did of Mowgli. Since I don't get to post about him much anymore I figure I will always have him up in my banner.
Talk2thetrees Shop has a new matching banner!
Here are some of the trees I created. They are super fun to make!
Tree Talker Art Shop also has a new banner!
I think the new look is more me for sure.
i knew you'd put the banner up soon! i love it though. especially with Mowgli chilling under the tree. you are so crazy talented, girlfriend.
ReplyDeleteI have a hard time telling... Are the trees made from actual paper and then digitized?
ReplyDeleteGlad you couldn't wait and put the banner up —it's my fav to date!
Hey! The trees and everything else was made in photoshop and illustrator. :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks awesome! I love the trees :)
ReplyDeleteHi Rachael, I love love love your blog! I've been reading it for some time now, and I was wondering what is the breed of Wicket? Is he a mix? He is so cute with his huge ears !
ReplyDeleteYou are very talented, keep up the creativeness.
Love,
Meg
Hi Meagan! Wicket is a chihuahua mix. The people who I got him from say he is full chihuahua.. but I know he isn't. He looks like a tiny German Shepherd to me! (He has fluffy thick fur like a baby wolf! AND his ears are HUGE. Not to mention he is very very smart... most chihuahua's aren't that good at being potty trained at 8 weeks!) I think he has a bit of terrier in him. I really don't know. I like to think he is a chihuahua mixed with a German Shepard/bunny/terrier. Either way... I love him! I don't care what breed he is. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Meg!
xoxo

ReplyDeleteeverything looks great! love the new banner and your cards, and especially love that you included Mowgli :)
ReplyDeleteI love the banner!! So cool!! I'm not even going to begin to wonder how you made it cos it looks like it took a while, but it looks brilliant!!! Love it.
ReplyDeleteHi Rachael! I work with Destinee and I've heard a lot about you. She showed me your blog and I love it! I'm an artist/writer/all-around-creative nerd just getting back in the groove after a long rut, and this site just makes me want to get back in the studio and go nuts!
ReplyDeletePS, I think I'm going to buy one of your pixie hats in the fall. Maybe some earrings too, even though I hate wearing jewelry. It's all beautiful.
I love it! x
ReplyDeleteI love your new banners. They are so artsy. :)
