I don't like being home. I miss the pitter patter of his foot steps. I miss his whine at the door when I was in the other room. I miss telling him good morning, and saying good night. I even miss the annoying and loud bark he did every time he heard a noise. The house is so quiet. I don't like that.
I'm also quite sick of posting sad things on this blog.
So I will be taking a break from the internet. I'm planning on going camping, or at least being in nature and finding sometime beautiful.
Nature heals, so does time.
I will see you all on Monday.
The sky looks pissed
The wind talks back
My bones are shifting in my skin
And you my love are gone
My room seems wrong
The bed won't fit
I cannot seem to operate
And you my love are gone
So glide away on soapy heels
And promise not to promise anymore
And if you come around again
Then I will take, then I will take the chain from off the door
I'll never say I'll never love
But I don't say a lot of things
And you my love are gone
The wind talks back
My bones are shifting in my skin
And you my love are gone
My room seems wrong
The bed won't fit
I cannot seem to operate
And you my love are gone
So glide away on soapy heels
And promise not to promise anymore
And if you come around again
Then I will take, then I will take the chain from off the door
I'll never say I'll never love
But I don't say a lot of things
And you my love are gone
I hope you have a good break and enjoy the fresh air and the whisper of the wind in the trees. Hugs xoxo

ReplyDeleteHi Rachael...You don't know me; I like your shop on etsy, and check in on this blog sometimes. I wept when I read about your wee pup. I'm so sorry, for everything you seem to have gone through lately. And I really hope you find a new snuggle-partner soon. It's a really important thing to have. I truly hope this year is happy for you

Oh, Rachel, my thoughts are with you.
