I spent some quality time in my studio the other day.
I worked with one of my favorite colors of the moment.
Teal.
I've noticed I've been using it a lot lately, so I figured, why not some more?
Roots and Rays
16x20 mixed media on stretched gallery wrapped canvas.
I love the way you mix media in your paintings! I've just got back into painting this last week. I used to do photorealism and portraits, but I'm trying to branch out to a much more intuitive style now.
ReplyDeleteThanks Allison! I used to do photo-realism.. but after a while, I decided that a photo could do it better... so I wanted to capture something a photo couldn't. My emotions. :)
DeleteLove your Roots and Rays work, Rachael!
ReplyDeleteAnd I am such a fan of teal!
Got Bruno a teal dog collar. :)
And have decorated one of my rooms with teal.
Have a great day!
Ahh I like that Bruno has a teal collar! It's such a good color. I think it's becoming one of my new favorites.. and I haven't said I had a new favorite color since 10th grade!
