I actually don't like posting photos of myself like this,
but my friend Chelsea did such a great job on these,
she deserves quite a shout out.
We drove down to Salt Lake together last week, and had fun exploring and taking photos.
It's a good thing I was feeling brave, because there were lots of people around watching us.
One guy even got into a picture with me.
If you would have read this blog 2 years ago, you would know..
I would never have done anything like this.
I used to be extremely shy and introverted.
I still like my alone time, and have a few bouts of social anxiety..
but for the most part, I'm pretty brave in public.
Life is short. Why not have fun?

Look at those legs! You are gorgeous, woman!
ReplyDeleteI love that you're brave. xoxo
Aw thanks Erica!! :)
DeleteWow!! These are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much!!
DeleteSo pretty! I would love to know how you do your eye makeup!
ReplyDeleteThanks Allison! I actually just smear dark shadow around. Nothing too fancy!
DeleteLove the pictures! And is that a tattoo I see on your arm? Is that recent, or did I miss something?! I couldn't see a clear view of it. What is it of?
ReplyDeleteThanks! It IS a tattoo.. I haven't posted about it because I'm not sure when I want to tell people about it.. (family) But, it's of Mowgli. It's a little cameo silhouette of one of my favorite photos of him. I got it in March on the year anniversary of his death. :)
DeleteYou're stunning! I love those spacers. My dad just recently found out my ears were stretched and he called me an idiot... Wasn't a good day.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get them if you don't mind me asking?
I got the big big white ones from a store on Etsy.. I forgot the name though! I think it was something peach.. haha I found them at a farmers market in SLC one day!
DeleteAs ever Rachael, you're effortlessly gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAw thanks Alice!! :)
DeleteStunning! And incredibly brave especially for the lying down shots!
ReplyDeleteYeah... those ones were the weird ones.. I felt weird about them anyways.. Some people came up asking if I needed CPR. I just laughed. :)
DeleteBeautiful as always.. And a bit daring! Oneof7
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!! x
ReplyDeleteThose are phantastic! You have such a talented friend! I don't think I could pick a favourite, but the shot where you're lying on the stairs is really cool!!
ReplyDeletelove
yaga
these are all beautiful!! I lovee them!!!!
ReplyDeletex.
These photos are incredible. You look like a magical pixie in some of the close-ups(it's a good thing). The one where you're laying on the stairs looks like it would not be comfortable!
ReplyDeleteIt's so cool that you were able to do this. I have extreme bouts of social anxiety (I've been diagnosed with social phobia) but sometime I would like to do a photoshoot. I just don't know any photographers and don't trust the ones on Craigslist.
Totally beautiful photos! You both did a great job!!
ReplyDeleteAH! these are so great :)) also, i love your studded romper did you make it?
ReplyDeleteYou're so stunning!! Love the one piece!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos!! Great job, for both the model and the photographer! You are GORGEOUS :)
ReplyDeleteI've been coming out of my shell this year and it feels really great. I still like to keep to myself but it's nice to let loose and shine through! It shows in these pictures, you look stunning AND genuine which I personally find that is rare with beautiful women taking photographs in sort of style. Keep at it, you look sooo lovely!
ReplyDeletesoft and lovely!
ReplyDeletethis deserves to be a center-page of Seventeen Mag!
