Today Would Be The Day...

Today would be the day that I announce a new giveaway. I had something super special planned, and bought the item a few weeks ago, but like many things, it got ruined in the flood. So, there is no new giveaway today.
Today would be the day that I would show you my pictures from our trip to Disneyland, but I can't because I seriously have no energy. The very last day of our vacation, for the drive home, we woke up with terrible sore throats. They escalated to full on colds. 
We arrived home dead tired, with a house to put back together. I've had a fever for three days now, and haven't had the energy to even unpack or organize my workshop.

So, today is actually the day where I tell you I won't be doing anything.
No photos, no unpacking, no opening up shops.
Just drinking juice, eating soup and making tea.
I'll be hanging out in my sweat pants, and falling asleep with a puppy on my lap. 
These last few weeks have hit me hard. 
Instead of fighting back.
I'm going to sleep.

  3. Funny, I just published a post about how sometimes we just need to slow down. My lack of energy is more of a seasonal and stress-related thing, but I think a lot of us are worn out right now.
    Enjoy your rest day! Sometimes, that's exactly what we need.

  7. I'm so sorry, sweety. I know how rough life has been on you, on you both. Just remember, there is always a silver lining. It's okay to do nothing, it's okay to vent or cry, it's okay to break down because that just means you've been strong for too long. Deep breath. It'll all be okay.
